Damme Good Honey, LLC (DGH), established in 2021, is a local inspiring and delicious journey from family heritage to a small, flourishing business. The dedication and passion that Tony Damme has put into honeybees for decades is truly remarkable. Tony’s first experience was in 1978 when his father acquired honeybees. In the 80’ and 90’s, the family honey business wintered their bees in Texas and produced honey during the summer in Northeast Nebraska. Today, DGH has between 100 and 200 hives and is producing honey in various counties of Nebraska (Holt, Wheeler, Antelope, Burt, and Washington). DGH’s experimenting with flavors and infusions adds a unique touch to our brand. It is fascinating to see how the business has evolved from a hobby into something more substantial in just a few years, all while maintaining a strong connection to local produce. We currently infuse/flavor most of the flavored honey with fruit (mulberry, chokecherry, raspberry, etc..) and vegetables (habanero, jalapeno, etc...) we raise and harvest in Nebraska. We are currently experimenting with flavored whipped honey and dipping sauces such as Honey Mustard and Spicy Honey Mustard.
